Kelowna Lawn Care is based in Kelowna, British Columbia, with Kelowna being the largest and most central city in the great Okanagan Valley famous for Okanagan Lake and the Loch Ness style water creature dubbed by our first nations people as “Ogopogo”.

Kelowna Lawn Care as a division of www.AllThingsExterior.org provides extensive lawn care services primarily to residential home owners and tenants.

We are very pleased to state that we also provide property services to those out of region, including out of country persons who own second, or vacation homes here in the Kelowna area.

In today’s changing climate, one has to pay closer attention to the way we care for our grounds.  Lawn care, in the face of tightening water restrictions and controls on commercial pesticides is becoming more specialized and requiring the closer attention of those who have the time and expertise to keep your lawn looking it’s absolute best.

We encourage every property owner to consider 3 careful points when maintaining their yards.

1. Aerate your yard every Spring.

2. Power-rake only if your lawns thatch layer is more than 1/2 ” thick.

3. Place your focus on feeding the soil under your grass, not feeding the grass.  This includes fertilizing programs after you have tested your soil, top dressing your lawn with a high quality fertilizing manure or soil composition, and watering as often as your water restrictions allow.
